Record of Ragnarok Season 2 is awaited by the fans who are completed with their part one. It is a Japanese manga series written by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui and illustrated by Ajichika. Later the manga was adapted for the show, directed by Masao Okubo and written by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu. Record of Ragnarok was aired on Netflix on June 27, 2021 followed by 12 episodes. The show received the average response from the audience, as it was said that anime did not depict the manga in the right way. Moreover this anime has also been a part of controversies. Earlier the series was about to premiere in India, but stepped down because of some mythological content of Hindus. However the show didn’t go well on the international platforms as well. The fans who enjoyed the story are looking forward to the next season. The makers have to consider at each point on the renewal of season 2, so that it could be accepted with open arms. Is the season renewed ?

Record of Ragnarok Season 2 has not yet been renewed by Netflix. We would have to wait till the next season to come with a new story, however the show has not received any green signals from the makers but there are slim chances that we will get its next installment. There could be some reasons behind delaying the show, the anime has not received the same popularity as the manga did. The show only encountered an average rating of 6.2 on IMDb and 6.57 on Myanimelist. Thus, the low graph on the ratings and mediocre response from the audience could be the reason that Netflix has not considered its renewal till now, however contrary to this we have not seen Netflix affected by ratings much. There might be the possibility that if the season renews, we may get it somewhere around in 2022. This is just a wild guess, we have to wait for the official statements from the team on it’s renewal.

Is the source enough for serialization of season 2?

The anime is based on japanese manga, the makers picked only a handful content for  season 1, in the adaptation as a series form only 20 chapters were used out of 47 chapters of Record of Ragnarok. This implies the source is enough to be picturized in the next season or might be the makers are waiting for some more volumes to get published, which could be later used as a good content base. Time will unveil the reality of mere probabilities. 

Who will be in the cast list of season 2?

The show has not been revived for the  next season hence no concrete details are available on the cast list of the next season. However, we might meet similar faces in the next season, if it happens. In order to bring  twists in the story we would also meet additional characters. We expect the following characters of season 1 to get their roles back in the future installment.

What would be the plot in the next part of Record of Ragnarok?

We will get to watch more twists on saving humanity, from the saviors side, but it would be accompanied by struggles. It will be interesting to see  how Valkyrie Brunhilde protects humanity. Season 1 projected only three battles out of thirteen, which is to take place between the Gods and Mankind. We could have the rest in the next season. At this stage, it is quite tricky to say much more on this. We will share updates on the plot when the official teaser or trailer comes out. For those who have not watched season 1 yet can get a brief Idea here. This unique plot line serves the story of saving humanity. Once in the millennium, there is a council of god discussing the future of humanity, but once it is decided that humans are irredeemable in nature and must go extinct. But Valkyrie Brunhilde tooks the charge to save humanity and ask for a golden chance to continue the existence., which resulted in battles to protect the same.
