Memphis gained popularity when he began serving as a hype man for the legendary rapper Jay-Z. Following his success in the music industry, Bleek decided to start his own record label called Get Low Records in 1998. Early Life:
Memphis Bleek was born Malik Deshawn Cox in New York City, on the 23rd of June 1978. The rapper was raised in the same neighborhood that artist Jay-Z is from known as Marcy Projects. Memphis Bleek started dating a girl named Ashley Coombs. The couple got married in December of 2014 after being in a relationship for several years. Their evening marriage ceremony was attended by Jay-Z and was held at The Merion in Cinnaminson, New Jersey. In July of 2018, Memphis became the father of a daughter.
