The eligibility for LLB as regulated by the Bar Council of India (BCI) is;
Candidate should be a graduate of either a 3-year or a 4-year undergraduate programme from any subject or discipline.The minimum percentage in graduation is an added criterion which may be added by certain law colleges. These may range from 40-55% for the General category and 35-45% for SC/ST.Most colleges require passing an entrance examination. This may vary from a single entrance exam for eligibility to many colleges or a private entrance exam for a particular college.
