No, you better wait for the redesign to come! Yes, that’s true. The bug tech Apple is all set to launch the redesigned Apple iPad mini this year, and here is the latest updated news. Apple has been redesigning its models for iPad, iPad Air, and iPad Pro for a decade, so the lovers of iPad mini will get a redesign pretty awesome soon. Maybe this year? Hold on to this article to know more. The news has been broken by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, a pro in the subject matter.

When will the redesign get live?

This year is expected to see the release of a new and better iPad Mini. Last year, supply chain expert Ming-Chi Kuo stated an improved iPad Mini was targeted for the first half of 2021, but that it will now be released in the second half of the year.

But why so much delay?

Apple has been hampered by a global shortage of semiconductors and other critical computing components. Shortages could be the reason for Apple delaying the iPad Mini from the first to the second half of the year,

What can I expect in the redesign?

A revised iPad Mini “should be a go” for autumn 2021, as Gurman reported in his newsletter. We’ve seen two 10.2-inch ‘regular’ iPads over the last two years, two AirPad Pro and a new all-new iPad. In his weekly newsletter, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said this. Gurman says the iPad mini is “the biggest redesign in nine years of history.”  The long-awaited iPad Mini upgrade will reduce the bezel size and completely replace the home button.  Images of an iPad mini dummy model were even released earlier this year, though it’s unclear if those images were accurate because the dummy model did have a Home button. The Highly paid line received the most recent iPad redesign in May, with a stunning new display, an M1 processor, and 5G support. In addition to the redesign, a new processor also is expected to drive the iPad mini. Touch ID would be excluded (which also offers final goodbye) from the home button and placed with the top button.  A USB Type-C port can be given to simplify the transmission of a file. Prosser also points that the iPad mini 2021 could perhaps provide Apple Pencil 2 support or maybe even a small Pencil by itself, depending on the tablet’s size. Black, gold, and silver are the shades the device can deploy.  The next iPad mini is supposed to be driven by an 8.4-inch display and the M1 chip. In 2019, the iPad mini received its most recent upgrade. When it gained the then-new A12 CPU and support for the Apple Pencil. The ordinary iPad, which costs $329 (£329, AU$499) against $399 (£399, AU$599) for the iPad Mini, has since been updated to include the same processor and compatibility for the Apple Pencil.  Must Check: T-Mobile teams up with Halo To Launch 5G Semi-AV Taxi Service Apple is working on a thinner version of the low-cost entry-level iPad aimed at students, in addition to a new iPad mini. Both the iPad mini and the new low-cost iPad are expected to be released “as early as the end of this year.”

Bottomline

Up until now, the iPad, iPad Air, and iPad Professional lines have all been updated with new models, so it’s only intuitive that the iPad Mini, the last of the myriad, will follow. Last yr, Ming-Chi Kuo, a well-known supply chain analyst, stated that an updated iPad Mini was planned for the first half of 2021 but that its introduction had been pushed back to the second half of the year.
