The Plot

Domestic Girlfriend, also known as Domestic na Kanojo, is about a boy named Natsuo Fujii, a high school student. Natsuo unknowingly fell in love with his teacher Hina who doesn’t reciprocate his feelings. Things turn for Natsuo when he meets Rui, a young girl who seduces him to have sex with her. Natsuo, who couldn’t control himself, is engaged with Rui in a physical relationship. When it comes to the realization that Rui has no profound feelings for Natsuo and only wants a physical relationship, Natsuo is forced to believe that he has betrayed the love of his life. Things start to turn complex when he discovers that Rui is Hina’s younger sister, and both are the daughter of a woman who is the latest love of his father, who he is going to marry soon.

Domestic Girlfriend Season 1 Last Episode (Spoiler Alert!)

There was a drastic change of events in the last episode. When Hina and Natsuo’s secret relationship is revealed, Hina takes all the blame on her and disappears, leaving behind a heartbreaking letter for Natsuo. Natsuo, who couldn’t control his heart being shattered, wrote a book on his life story. Years later, we see Natsuo getting over Hina and receiving an award for the novel he wrote. We also saw Rui making moves on Natsuo again now that Hina is out of the picture.

What Can Be Expected From Season 2?

If season 2 returns, it would be epic to see the love triangle between Natsuo, Hina, and Rui. When Hina left, she started a new life somewhere else. It is expected from season 2 that Hina might return to Natsuo, or as Natsuo is over the heartbreak, he may give a chance to Rui. Whatever happens in the life of three, we are going to get an epic thrill.

Domestic na Kanojo Season 2- Do We Have Resources?

Domestic Girlfriend is an anime series based on a manga series by Tatsuya Takahashi. Season 1 premiered from January 12, 2019, to March 2019. The debut season is loved by viewers so much that the demand for the sequel is high. It has been two years since then, and the producers are not ready for an announcement yet. Knowing that the manga series is far ahead of the anime series, we have a ray of hope that we might see a second season soon. Every year only five volumes are issued of the manga. In 2019, only four volumes were published, which decreased to three in 2020. All these new editions of the volume make them a total of 28 volumes. Since we know that the sequel will last 12 episodes only, just like the former season, we can be relieved that there is enough source content for season 2.
